Want to photograph the action and excitement of the FIFA World Cup in Vancouver?

Join us this Friday for a special four hour From Street to Print photography experience.

We will be in position as tens of thousands of supporters make their way into BC Place for the New Zealand vs Belgium match. We'll explore the FIFA Pavilion around Science World before photographing the incredible procession of fans along Pacific Boulevard. As kickoff begins, we'll hear the stadium erupt and feel the ground tremble from outside.

From there, we'll head to Granville Street, where the celebrations continue. With no cars, expanded patios, live entertainment, and thousands of people filling the streets, it promises to be one of the most exciting evenings to photograph Vancouver this year.

We’ll photograph our way through the FIFA Fan Festival, explore Science World’s giant football transformation, and be outside BC Place as Canada kicks off in the world’s biggest sporting event. The city will never look like this again.

This Thursday 1pm-4pm, From Street to Print, our guided photography experience heads into the heart of Vancouver's FIFA World Cup celebration. As Canada takes on Qatar, we'll spend the afternoon photographing the energy, anticipation, and excitement surrounding one of the largest sporting events in the world. Yes, it's a Thursday afternoon, but opportunities like this don't come around very often. Kickoff at 3pm.

FROM STREET TO PRINT: A Guided Photowalk & Print Reveal
Sunday June 7th | 2:00pm–5:00pm

Join us as we explore Library Square, BC Place, and Plaza of Nations during one of the most interesting times of day to photograph the city. Following a morning of rain, we’ll take advantage of reflections, changing weather, dramatic light, and the energy of downtown Vancouver before the evening football crowds arrive.

Whether your interests are documentary, architecture, abstraction, street photography, or simply spending an afternoon making photographs, all cameras and experience levels are welcome.

Every participant receives a professionally printed archival photograph and invitation to the print reveal on Saturday June 27th.

A guided photowalk through Vancouver. Library Square, BC Place, Plaza of Nations, focusing on a late spring afternoon, timing, and the printed photograph.
