A wedding in 10 pictures:
1. We’ve never met two people whose stories are so intertwined. On July 25, 2021, they made it official—there is no longer without
2. Isabelle in her traditional tea ceremony dress that her mother altered for her, reading the card Andrew had written for her.
3. On route to Victoria, where Isabelle and Andrew lives, and where they decided to have the wedding ceremony and reception after spending the morning in the family home in Vancouver. A legit two city wedding in one day.
4. The ferry also carries a lot of weight in their relationship, as they took turns ferrying to one another in the course of their long distance relationship. Now they’re always on the ferry together.
5, 6. Ms. Isabelle is a teacher, and on this day she had the privilege of hosting her wedding at the school she teaches at. She also loves to give tours.
7. The couple said their vows in front of their closet immediate families + four friends—that’s us!
8. One of the highlights of the reception which took place at the couple’s backyard, was the choreographed first dance at sunset. The finishing move received an encore and so up went Isabelle again~
9. We were all seated together in one long family table. We were part of the games and the festivities. And we were all the targets of Mr. Li’s pressure campaign to get everyone drunk. And drunk did Kevin get (thanks Brendan for driving him home)
10. This wedding will always be a part of our history. Thanks to the lovely couple.
