Ferruginous Hawk 🐦‍🔥

Another grassland species. One of the few hawks to have feathers all the way down to their toes. Nests contained bison bones when Bison still roamed the prairies.
The oldest Ferruginous Hawk was almost 24 years old.

Reappearing on April fools day was 100% intentional, just incase I run out of steam before a second post is made. 🙊

This winter I took all my brain power and moved all my photography photos over to iCloud. ☁️
Which is a big process for someone with slow internet and little knowledge or 🧠 capacity for technology. 🥲
But now with access to everything via my handheld device, I’m hoping it helps me “keep up” with sharing.

So here’s to hoping!
