These two traveled all the way from Australia for this moment and it couldn’t have felt more perfect.

The rain held off just long enough, the wind did its thing and we hopped in a helicopter out to a little island on Okanagan Lake with only their parents by their side.

There’s something special about keeping it small. More presence, more meaning, more of what actually matters.

Especially when the wind picks up, the light gets soft, and everything slows down for a moment.
