On this day last year I was doing something I truly miss; photographing hockey for the 🏒

There was at least 5000-6000 people in attendance for this Saturday night game against Vancouver. The Royals lost but it was hard not to enjoy a large crowd on a Saturday night, something that now feels like a distance memory.

This game was the 23rd home game of the season, and fast approaching a busy February with 7 more home games. In March we would only get one more game before the season was abruptly canceled due to COVID-19

Photography makes me 😁

These last couple months I’ve had some really amazing photography assignments. The type of work that makes me LOVE what I do.

As I settle in for a busy week of editing, I am feeling super grateful for all of my amazing clients who allow me to do what I love full time.

The people who support me and my business probably don’t realize how much it means to me, but they are literally enabling me to live my dream every day.

I have never had a shoot postponed because there was not enough rain... luckily we live on Vancouver Island and did not have to wait long for the ideal conditions. 🌧
