Rian Plante Media Born in Ontario raised on Vancouver Island, I shoot everything from mountain biking to weddings. Always down to collaborate and come up with new ideas.

I grew up on Vancouver Island, B.C., and recently reside in Victoria, BC. I had the good fortune to be in and around the forest and mountains from an early age. I started out in high school taking photos of my friends skateboarding and mountain biking our local trails, and since then my still and motion work has focused on biking, landscapes,friends, and the life and culture of Vancouver Island. I can’t thank you enough. These past 3 years of what you guys have done is absolutely amazing. You have to be so proud of the character and heart that you have shown. It’s been my pleasure to be a part of this program. But this will be my last season. I love all of you, every single one. So with a thankful heart, let me say goodbye. It breaks my heart to think that I will not walk with you one more time to the court that holds so precious memories to me. But it’s time for me to start the next chapter.

I’m proud of you. It’s not easy going after your goals, even having the courage to risk it all in pursuit of those goals. Just having the courage to risk it all while chasing your goals, let alone fighting through all the injuries, disappointment and setbacks, obstacles, and naysayers on the way to your goal. It’s not easy. That’s why most settle. But this group, you’re not like the rest, and I just wanted to say I’m proud. I wanted to say that just to let each and every one of you know you are unique. You are a rare breed. Strong individuals. And no matter what you want to do in life don’t let anything or anyone stop you from reaching your goal you have
