Here is some wedding inspo for you!!

These are only a few of the weddings / styled shoots I’ve had the privilege of working on.

I typically work with couples who are wanting to elevate their wedding day with texture, colour and design, not just stationery.

I love being able to create unique ways to showcase their story through paper & colour. I find that some couples think that you can’t have colour and have your wedding elevated and timeless. The truth is, is that you in fact CAN do both!!

There was a wedding suite I did for a shoot in Vancouver (featured in the first 2 slides) and we actually got published in because they loved it so much!

Don’t get me wrong, I love a black & white invitation / table number, but I added the curves to give it more personality.

Layered paper is my favourite way to create a unique and bold menu, being authentic to living on the west coast and true to my abstract design at heart. Each layer of paper has a different course on it, describing what the course features.

You can absolutely have a rectangular wedding menu and have it timeless and colourful, or you can think outside the box and create something that represents where your love first flourished (ie. west coast etc.)

The purple menu is all handmade Japanese paper tied in with gold foil creating an elegant and timeless menu that guests will take home because it’s just so beautiful!!

Hello all you lovely people! I’ve gained some followers and so I figured I should re-introduce myself!

Hi, I’m Madeline — founder of Madeline Anne Studios (formerly Madeline Anne Designs), based out of Victoria, BC but I serve worldwide!

I started as a small business creating artwork and cards, which slowly grew into selling physical products. Somewhere along the way, I realized what I truly loved wasn’t just the product — it was the design process itself and the connection with people.

Madeline Anne Studios has been officially alive for just over a year now, and I’m so proud of how far it’s come. The growth, the skill-building, the relationships, and the evolution of my work have been incredible — especially considering I first started graphic design over 10 years ago.

Today, I specialize in creating beautiful, intentional stationery that tells a story and stays seamlessly on theme with your wedding and/or event.

Paper, texture, and colour have always been part of my world. Creating, layering, and playing with different elements started back in childhood — even something as simple as back-to-school supply shopping sparked that love. And that foundation is still what shapes everything I design today.

This past August, I had the pleasure of collaborating with on a Camp-themed 40th birthday celebration for a family in Lake Cowichan.

With a thoughtfully chosen colour palette as our starting point, the event quickly evolved into a fully branded “camp” experience. I designed the visual identity and carried it through custom merch, signage, menus, a weekend schedule, a custom pennant flag, playful illustrations, and curated goodie bags for the kids — complete with camp-inspired details that guests of all ages enjoyed.

From backpacks, shirts, stickers, hats, and pins to food and drink station signage and branded bags, every detail worked together to create a cohesive, immersive celebration.

These are the events that light me up — where branding goes beyond aesthetics and becomes an experience.

You guys !! I’m so excited to share what I have coming for next month!

Since I launched Madeline Anne Designs I have been feeling less myself. Launching a business is always scary and hard but so fulfilling— however, I felt like I needed to position myself into a mold that wasn’t actually me. Clean lines, neutral colours, that’s not me. Don’t get me wrong I love simplicity but I also love colour and creating beautiful bold designs.

I’ve been a graphic designer for over 10 years, a photographer for over 10 years and a creative at heart since I was 2! I always felt like I had to niche down, and while that works for many people, for me it doesn’t. I need to be able to switch from one creative endeavour to another while still feeling like myself and creating beautiful branding / experiences for you!

I will now be known as Madeline Anne Studios as I will be offering some new and improved services and I cannot wait to show you what I’ve been slaving away on for the last 4 months!
