I’m Nicola, a lifestyle photographer in Victoria, BC, specializing documentary-style family and wedding photography. I have a passion for documenting candid moments, from quiet morning cuddles to love-filled vows, and believe that everyday life should be celebrated. I am honoured to tell peoples’ stories and record moments that will become cherished memories. Though I wasn’t born in Victoria, I’ve
always lived on an island and the ocean is my happy place. I feel extremely lucky to live in a city surrounded by rocky beaches and wet forests, and I try to bring our west coast landscape into my photos. I am mama to a bulldog and a rescue cat who provide constant entertainment and laughter, even when I’m wondering how they got that got there. My nephews, Alex and Ben, are a source of joy who remind me how important it is to play and that the world is a magical place. My husband, Kris, is my biggest source of support and a great business partner. He does everything from bringing me tea and snacks during late-night editing marathons to holding reflectors and equipment when needed.
