In creating this series, I spent time across lower Vancouver Island searching for landscapes that felt intentional.

Places that could hold space for remembrance.

This work was created to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

I’m grateful to have been invited to create a series for an upcoming event in May.

These aren’t the images chosen for the exhibit… but they’re part of the journey.

There was something about this space that really stayed with me.

Programs like this create opportunities for kids to connect in ways that feel safe, calm, and grounding, especially for those who experience the world a little differently.

When I was capturing these moments, I found myself drawn to perspectives that felt more approachable. Softer angles, closer details, and views that might reflect how a child experiences this space.

Making something as big as a horse feel a little more familiar, a little more welcoming.

These are the kinds of environments that remind me how powerful thoughtful spaces and the stories within them can be.

I wanted to share a moment that feels really special for Island Views & Vibes.

My Red Dress photo series has led to a partnership, and some of these images will be displayed at an event in Edmonton this May.

Seeing this work step into a space where it can connect with people in a deeper way means a lot to me. It’s also opened the door to growing more into licensing imagery for events and meaningful projects, which I’m really excited about.

I’ll be in Edmonton around that time with a bit of availability if anyone is looking to update their visuals.
