✨ Another one from a few months back!

This sweet couple was still engaged at the time, and their session ended up being a last-minute save after their original photographer had to back out. Despite the strong winds and chilly lakeside weather, they embraced every moment without hesitation and were rewarded with the most beautiful sunset. 🌅💕

👋 It's been a minute since I've popped on here to say hello, but hi everyone!

I'm still doing photography — I've just been a little quiet while juggling a full-time job, a part-time job, and three little munchkins! Life has been wonderfully busy, which is also why I never properly shared photos from this guy's Fresh 48 session.

Little Hudson is already getting so big, but I think no matter how many updated photos his mom shares, this is the little guy I'll always see in the back of my mind. ❤️

Anyway, I wanted to pop on and say that I am still offering photo sessions! With the kids home for summer holidays, now is the perfect time to capture some memories.

This sweet family originally planned to have their birth photographed, but sometimes life has its own plans—and in this case, that meant welcoming their baby in a hospital that didn’t allow photographers in the delivery room.

And you know what? It didn’t take away from the magic one bit.

Because just hours later, I was able to step into this quiet, emotional space and capture Hudson exactly as he was in those first fleeting moments of life—tiny, fresh, and so deeply loved.

There’s something so powerful about these Fresh 48 sessions. No pressure, no posing—just real moments. The way mom holds her baby a little tighter. The way time seems to stand still in that hospital room. The quiet awe of “we did it… he’s here.”

Things don’t always go to plan—but sometimes, they turn into something just as meaningful in a completely different way.

I’m so grateful I got to be there to document this chapter for them 🤍
