The Bluebirds bring calm & fly around minding their own business but the Swallows often bring a little chaos with trying to take over the same nesting houses. They finally settled on a house further down but watching their antics as they seemed to be conducting a very loud emergency housing meeting & not agreeing whether to just peacefully move on or stay & fight, Lol

Apparently Mother Nature skipped spring and went straight back to February.
Watching my poor Purple Martins unable to get into their houses because the entrances are buried in snow was another level entirely.💔
We went out to clear the openings but they haven't come back...Fingers crossed they will try again!!!

Fun Fact:
Did u know they have ultraviolet vision. That means they can actually see the invisible urine trails left by small rodents. To you it's just a patch of grass. To a Kestrel, its a glowing roadmap that screams "Snack this a way", Lol

Went on a little excursion this weekend & I must say this was a first for me...A Silly Goose in a Tree...

My question is "how does she get the little ones down from there when its time to get them in the water cause it usually takes them to be 2 months old before they can even fly & apparently they must feed 24-48 hrs after hatching. It will be a very long jump for these little ones!!!

The prairie disappeared under a storm, nothing remained but white. And then, there he was-a coyote, threading his way thru the emptiness. Everything around him vanished! He reminded me that life persists, even in emptiness.
Thinking of a few people going thru some rough patches..Find your rhythm. Keep moving Forward. You'll make it through. Be the coyote.❄️☀️❄️
