Today I played in my 1st disc golf tournament (The Ten Hill Classic) and my team finished 2nd, yes we even used some of my throws!

I almost got a hole in one!!

I gave the winner some tips before the day started, which i think helped him. Haha, he had his own disc!

📚🐾 DAY 4 OF MY BOOK TOUR – CHAPTERS PETERBOROUGH! 🐾📚

What an incredible day in Peterborough!

One of the most memorable moments came after a wonderful conversation with this guy and his mom. Before leaving, she surprised me by buying me a mug because, as she put it, "it spoke to her" and she felt she had to get it for me. It was such an unexpected act of kindness. 💜

The entire day was filled with amazing conversations about wildlife, conservation, photography, and education. I also met several teachers and community members who are hoping to bring me in to present to their classes and groups, which is always exciting!

Another great surprise was reconnecting with a friend I hadn't seen in four years. It's amazing how these book signings have become more than just events, they've become opportunities to re-connect with incredible people.

Of course, Bones was once again a crowd favourite, collecting hugs, high-fives, smiles, and photos throughout the day!

The adventure continues, and I'd love to meet you at one of my upcoming book signings. You can even get hands-on with real Canadian wildlife artifacts, including vertebrae, pelts, and skulls!

Three days in Algonquin Park turned into one of my best wildlife photography adventures ever! I was hoping to capture more photos for my upcoming 4 bear book, but I never expected three incredible black bear encounters that gave me amazing photos and video.

Along the way I also spotted beavers, loon family with baby, deer, foxes, turtles, wild turkeys, a groundhog and more while exploring one of Canada's most iconic parks.

📚🐾 DAY 3 OF MY BOOK TOUR – MISSISSAUGA (CHAPTERS VEGA)! 🐾📚

What an unforgettable day!

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Chapters Vega for hosting the third stop of my Going Deeper with Jason George book tour.

One of my favourite moments happened when a young reader told me their favourite animal was the snow leopard. The look on their face when I showed them my book with photos of six different snow leopards I photographed high in the Himalayan Mountains was absolutely priceless! Moments like that remind me why I wrote these books and videos.

Completely unexpected surprise, one of my former students (30+) walked into the store looking for a book. It was awesome catching up after all these years!

Then came another special moment... the store manager showed me that my books had officially been placed on the Chapters shelves! Seeing something you've worked on sitting in a bookstore is a feeling that's hard to describe, being dyslexic too.

Working on a fun surprise with this Chapters location, so stay tuned! 👀

Welcome to this episode of my Arctic adventure through Svalbard!

This was one of the most memorable days of our expedition, and one I'll never forget sharing with my incredible 82-year-old mother.

Our adventure begins with an unforgettable opportunity to step onto floating Arctic sea ice near the spectacular Bråsvellbreen Ice Wall. Watching my mom confidently walk on the ice in one of the most remote places on Earth was a special moment, and of course, I couldn't resist tasting a piece of the ancient Arctic ice!

Along the way, we also encounter more walrus before braving the icy 1°C Arctic Ocean for the Polar Bear Dip.

Then, just five nautical miles later, the day reaches another unforgettable highlight.

John spots our first polar bear of the expedition, a mother with her cub hunting ring seals on the sea ice. Watching them patiently search for seals while sharing the experience with my mom made this one of the greatest wildlife moments of our entire Arctic journey.

Welcome to this episode of my Arctic adventure through Svalbard!

Our journey into the High Arctic begins with unexpected excitement as our flight into Longyearbyen is forced to abort its landing because of poor visibility and snow. Thankfully, the second attempt is successful, and our Arctic adventure can finally begin.

Since we arrived a day early, we set off on an Arctic fox tour through Bear Valley (Bjørndalen) in search of wildlife. The adventure doesn't disappoint! We find two Arctic foxes, including one with a memorable habit of marking a reindeer skull, along with several Svalbard reindeer, king eiders, common eiders, snow buntings, red-throated loons, skuas, and ptarmigans, several of them new species for me.

We also visit the famous Global Seed Vault, one of the world's most secure facilities, and see the entrance to the now-closed Mine 7, offering a glimpse into Svalbard's mining history.

One of my favourite moments was sharing an Arctic fox sighting with my 82-year-old mother, who was able to enjoy the wildlife from an easier viewpoint while I explored farther along the trail.

To finish the day, we experienced a unique Arctic meal featuring whale, seal, and reindeer before enjoying the incredible Midnight Sun. Even at 11:30 p.m., it was still bright outside, and we wouldn't see darkness again for more than a week.

Welcome to this episode of my Arctic adventure through Svalbard!

Today begins quietly as we cruise through the High Arctic near *81°22.082'N**, giving me time to work on the German edition of my **Going Deeper with Jason George* lion book. Expanding my wildlife book series into multiple languages has been a dream, and it was special to make progress while surrounded by one of the world's most incredible landscapes.

Then everything changed.

Our expedition spotted the **third polar bear of the trip**, and what happened next was something none of us expected. The bear walked across patches of sea ice before entering the icy Arctic waters and swimming directly toward our ship from nearly two miles away. Curious and alert, it approached to within approximately 250 metres, stopping to look, smell the air, and investigate us before eventually turning away.

Watching this magnificent predator with my 82-year-old mother, and experienced it with our own eyes made this one of the greatest wildlife moments of our entire expedition.

Welcome to this episode of my Arctic adventure through Svalbard!

Today we visit one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the Arctic—**Bråsvellbreen**, the massive ice wall stretching for miles across the eastern coast of Svalbard.

The adventure begins before we even reach the glacier as we board Zodiacs for an unforgettable encounter with walrus resting on the sea ice.

Then comes our first incredible surprise...

We are invited to step onto floating Arctic sea ice, giving us the rare opportunity to stand on drifting ice at *79° North* and experience one of the most unforgettable moments of the expedition.

As we continue north, the breathtaking Bråsvellbreen Ice Wall comes into view, towering above the Arctic Ocean and showcasing one of Svalbard's most spectacular glaciers.

But the surprises aren't over.

After an exhilarating Arctic Polar Bear Dip in the freezing 1°C ocean, we spot the **first polar bear of our expedition**—a mother with her cub hunting for ring seals on the sea ice. It was the perfect ending to one of the greatest days of the entire journey.

Sharing these unforgettable moments with my amazing 82-year-old mother made this Arctic expedition even more meaningful.

Another unforgettable EPIC 1st experience is in the books!

EPIC 1st is a charity I created that gives people incredible first-time experiences through the generosity of our community. Donated tickets, event experiences, swag and financial support help create memories that last a lifetime.

This adventure took us to the Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Mets game on June 29, featuring Bo Bichette's return to Toronto.

From the moment we arrived, we connected with amazing Blue Jays fans throughout Rogers Centre. The excitement never stopped as our group received Blue Jays shirts, hats, incredible swag, and even batting practice baseballs!

The highlight of the day? The girls were surprised with a $100 shopping spree at the Blue Jays Shop, making an already incredible day even more unforgettable.

Between the amazing seats, the incredible people around us, and another Blue Jays victory, this was another huge success for EPIC 1st.

The Blue Jays improved our incredible EPIC 1st record to 10 wins and just 1 loss through our first 11 games!
