Another set from Wasaga Beach, beach one. Spent another morning spotting warblers. In two days this brings the total to 14 warbler species and two vireo's at the beach. Very happy!!!

Day 1:
Yellow warbler
Common yellowthroat
Yellow-rumped warbler
Blackpoll warbler
Cape May warbler
Northern parula
Canada warbler
Chestnut-sided warbler
Palm warbler

Day 2:
Bay-breasted warbler
Blackburnian warbler
American redstart
Wilson's warbler
Tennessee warbler

Yesterday morning was warbler heaven at Wasaga Beach, beach one! Seven warbler species and two vireos in the pictures. Some of the cape may warblers may actually be palm as it can be hard to differentiate this time of year (at least for me.) I also spotted yellow-rumped and common yellowthroat but no pics.

Friday, Dad and I spent the day at Carden Alvar. I know it's just outside of Simcoe County but hopefully the moderators will allow.

One of my favorite birding areas around as we always see a lot there in the spring and it didn't disappoint this year. Too many pictures for one post so I'll split it up into a few posts over the next week.
