Hey, I’m Julie! + there are quite a few new faces around here barely, so it felt like a good time to properly introduce myself🫶🏻

I’m a wedding photographer based in Kitchener-Waterloo, photographing weddings across Cambridge, Guelph, Elora, Hamilton, Toronto + throughout Southern Ontario.

And while I obviously really love beautiful photographs, what I care most about is everything happening inside them.

I photograph weddings with a documentary approach. Lots of observing, a little gentle direction when needed, and plenty of space to just experience your wedding day!

A few things about me outside of weddings: I am a big baker, I love days spent with my girls, I’ll always choose a great coffee shop, I love my family and friends, and I genuinely still feel so lucky that my work days get to be the biggest day@of someone else’s life🥹

Some wedding venues are just truly magical ✨🕊️ and The Stella Collective has created a couple of my absolute favourites in the region.

I’ve photographed at all their wedding locations, and these guys are just SO good at what they do. 🤍

The team is incredible, the spaces photograph beautifully, Gilt Catering Co. food is genuinely unmatched, and the whole atmosphere just makes for such a good wedding day.

And yes, obviously the venues themselves are stunning. The gardens, the river, the architecture, that evening lightttt 🥹 There’s so much variety without ever having to leave the property.

But I think what I love most is how easy the day gets to feel.

You’re not spending a huge chunk of your wedding driving between locations or disappearing for hours to take photos. You actually get to be there. Cocktail hour, conversations with your people, everyone gathered around the tables, all the little unexpected moments happening in between.

And selfishly, those are my favourite parts to photograph. 🤍

So for 2027, I’m intentionally saving a little space in my calendar for 5 Elle by Stella weddings + 5 Wren House weddings.
