is buzzing today with new art coming in and also preparation of a new cart display. This is 's project - she has designed and sewn the trimmings and covering and gathered the initial props for the cart. What fun to see it coming together!

So amazing to wake up to this bird song in the morning, especially the wood thrush which sounds magical - at MacGregor Point during the Huron Fringe Birding Festival. The festival continues next weekend but alas we had to leave. Besides birds, the flora was amazing.

Red-tailed Hawk in the city was not afraid of people. Even a utility truck driving by didn't bother it. Eventually it flew to catch a vole. I love the colours seen here.

Honoured that "Brake Landing" is among 80 chosen to represent Canada at the 2026 Four Nations competition. This is a photography competition between the national photography societies of New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, and Canada. It is the 4th time that I've had an image selected to represent Canada - previously in 2025, 2023, and 2022.

Thank you to all who came to the show and to all behind the scenes of Pelham Art Festival! It was a fabulous show.

What makes me enjoy exhibiting at art shows?

Meeting people. Connecting. Loving the moment when people are enjoying themselves and I can be part of it.

Of course it's great when a piece gets purchased, and by someone who I do not know, who has simply fallen in love. I'm equally delighted when something small like a card sells, especially when it is close and dear to me as the ones of my kid's stuffies that we sewed together.
