The NORA Project;
featuring ROXI
A note from Roxi’s family;
Our Roxi girl came into our lives at 8 weeks old. From the moment we saw her, Mom knew that she was the newest member of our family. Although we set her down to meet the other puppies, Dad knew exactly where she was the whole time. Roxi stole our hearts right from that first meeting.
Roxi began her life as Mom’s dog. She spent the first years of her life faithful and loyal to Mom. Once Mom got pregnant, Roxi quickly realized life was going to be different and spent the remainder of her years following Dad from room to room, forever at his side.
Roxi was an old soul and mother from the beginning. She made it her job to look after everyone that was in her life. She looked after our Rayne, Jersey and the countless foster puppies that came into our home over the years. Roxi looked after our boys making sure they were never out of sight while playing outdoors and always alerting family whenever there was a visitor. She had a big bark, that would quickly dissolve into a waggy bum with every pat.
Roxi began each outside play by rolling in the grass, snow or mud. Which quickly earned her a middle name, Roxi “Roller”Mullen. Roxi lived for playing ball. She would play until exhaustion hit, but was unwilling to stop. She loved to play keep away from her other fur friends whenever the opportunity arose. If there was water to swim in, Roxi would dive right in and go for a swim in true Labrador fashion.
We are so thankful to The Nora Project for capturing these photos of our Roxi girl. We left a piece of our hearts behind when we said goodbye to our sweet girl but having these photos reminds us that even though she is no longer here, our love & the joy she brought continues with our memories of her.
