Golden light, forest whispers, and a love story that’s about to grow by two tiny feet. 🌸✨

I live for capturing moments like this—where every detail tells a piece of your story.

She is an alchemist.

She gathers her pain,
- the splinters, the silence, the storms -

and holds its gaze until it bows,
finding the tender vein beneath its threat,
and tames it into something soft enough to serve.

She names her shadows, so the serpent loses its threat.

In the darkness she unveils,
the snake learns its own nature -
aware enough to offer its venom as antidote
for hearts as lost as hers once were.

She knows the ache of bleeding unseen.

So when she finds another lingering near the threshold,
she gives what she's made from her own breaking:
a flicker of warmth, a breath of solace, and the slow current beneath her skin,
left behind like a quiet lamp burning in the dark -
for those half in the shadows,
who may one day choose to find their way back into themselves.

She hides this in plain sight -
a mercy for eyes that remember how to see.

MMIWR Prayer for All Affected Families and Survivors.

Creator, we speak your name over those who are hurting, grieving, and desperately seeking justice. We lift up the families who carry the weight of daily sorrow, the survivors who walk in the shadows of trauma, and the broken hearts that long for healing. In the depths of their grief, we ask for your presence, your comfort, and your guidance.

We pray for good medicine to come forth today, for justice to be served, and for investigators to be compelled to act with urgency and conviction. We speak to those in positions of authority, asking for a movement of change, for the guilty to come forward, and for circumstances to shift so that breakthrough can happen.

We pray for the cold cases of the past and those still unfolding in the present, that your hand of intervention would be upon them. May you guide those searching for answers and uncover the truth hidden beneath layers of silence.

We ask for restoration of what has been unjustly taken, for justice for those who seek to silence our voices and erase our histories. We pray for provision for the work ahead, we call for supporters, we ask for the strength and resources to continue this journey. We are grateful, Creator, for the many MMIWR advocates you’ve called from the four corners of the world, bless the hands of their work.

As we remember our lost loved ones, we also honor their lives with joy, recalling their laughter and the memories that will forever live in our hearts. May this day not be one of sorrow alone, but one of celebration for the beautiful souls we’ve lost.

We speak healing into the MMIWR crisis and ask for tangible change for our tribal communities. Break the trafficking networks and stop those who exploit our women and children. Expose and dismantle the systems that allow this to continue.

Creator, equip us with strength, unite us in purpose, and guide us toward breakthrough. Sustain us in this sacred fight. Great Spirit, be with us. OurBodiesShouldNeverBeMissing

Wyoming: Native people make up just 3% of the population—yet account for 21% of homicide victims.
That number should stop you in your tracks.

This isn’t coincidence.
It’s the result of systemic neglect, deep-rooted racism, and a justice system that continues to fail Indigenous communities.

In Wyoming, Native families are left without answers.
Investigations are delayed.
Cases are dropped.
Victims are blamed.

And the cycle continues.

Wyoming holds one of the lowest investigation and prosecution rates for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives (MMIWR) cases.

The violence is ongoing.
The silence is deadly.

If we don’t talk about it, nothing changes.

Here’s what we must do:
• Center Native voices and leadership
• Push for legal reform and accountability
• Fund culturally competent victim services
• Raise awareness—even when it’s uncomfortable

No more invisibility. No more silence.
We stand in solidarity with those still searching, still fighting, and still demanding justice. Text MMIWR to 44-321 to support the MMIWR Family Support.
