I don’t do photography because it makes money. I don’t do it because it’s the next new job, and a quick money maker. I do it because for me, my camera is my voice and the photos I take are my words. I love being able to not just capture a moment, but often times, what I have FELT in that moment. I love that I can literally freeze time for someone, and help share their story. Any time I see one of my images used by a client or family member or friend in a special way makes my heart feel very… thankful. Thankful that someone had that moment to be able to relive, and that I could give them that.

Thank you to everyone who has ever supported my work. Truly, if I could offer my services for free, I would. I love what I do, and the feeling it brings when I’ve captured “that” moment for someone.

Anyway, this is Bull. He’s the newest member of the stillreflectionspawtography clan. He is one of my sister in laws oopsie babies, who clung to my kids and in the duration of a work visit. He’s a pretty handsome guy, too, but we love him because he’s the SWEETEST, most patient little guy. We can’t wait to get to know him more. Fun fact: this is the first animal I’ll have ever owned that I’ve known since its birth. Almost all of mine have been rescues or rehomes. Nothing under 12 weeks for me! So this has been such a cool bonding experience for my kids and I.

The family and I got to attend in Vancouver on Sunday, and boy did we have fun!! We had the pleasure of meeting Jamey and Zack Garner, and . My boy’s personal favourite at the show was El Toro Loco, but he would have probably fainted if he could have met , who drives his ultimate favourite truck, Zombie. During our walk yesterday, I had multiple bees say “hi” to me. One even came and flew right onto my hand and hung out there. Bees are my summertime besties—I LOVE photographing them and their fascinating behaviours! Who else can’t wait for this warmer weather?!
