Offering Portrait Photography as a service has been something I’ve hoped to share with people for a long time.

Portrait photographer based in Windsor, Ontario, with a passion for capturing people's unique expressions, personalities, and moods in everything from milestone life moments to business branding and family portraits. For years I've shot photos of entertainers, concerts, plays, festivals, parades, community events as a journalist and founder of Eyes On Windsor (an online guide to entertainment, eve

nts and fun things to do in Windsor Essex). Over the years people who have seen my published photos on Eyes On Windsor and on CBC Windsor have asked to hire me, from BIA’s and bands, to the University of Windsor, and more (all of which I turned down). For two Summers in a row I was “CBC’s Eyes On Windsor” where a summary of weekend events were shared “in pictures” on CBC Windsor along with my daily tweets featuring upcoming events in the Windsor Essex area. Fast forward to today and I knew the sunflower field was the perfect place to book my first sessions. I feel I have developed my skills to match my passion for portrait photography and I am confident to offer it as a quality service. Currently, I’m excited to start building my portfolio and shoot more clients/subjects. I’ll be posting more session dates in the near future and hope you’ll book with me. I look forward to capturing special moments and bringing out the best in all of you.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting these photos of Rebecca Suzanne Aurora Mickle, a talented local singer and actress. The photos are being used in the design of her inaugural album "In The Garden." The album features the Mickle family's favourite hymns along with an original track by Rebecca. Proceeds from CD sales and the benefit album release concert set for Sept 18 at Amherstburg Community Church will go towards medical costs for the care of her 4 year old niece Christina who has been battling Apert Syndrome her whole life. It was a pleasure to work with you Rebecca and wish you, your family and niece all the best!

I shot this photo last year of Adriana Rajewski teaching an outdoor yoga class during Transition to Betterness (T2B)'s Yoga 4 Hope In The Parks. I'm honoured to have been asked to help photograph some of the classes this year on behalf of T2B and will be volunteering my services. If you'd like to join the fun be sure to register soon as classes usually fill up fast. It takes place on Aug 22.

It was a pleasure shooting Fall portraits of Erika and Phil's family at Ojibway Park this past weekend, their children were adorable and I love that they brought their fur baby Bailey!

If anyone wants last minute Fall portraits feel free to message me. I'm willing to book during the first week of November as I have a flexible schedule that week. Fall photos are perfect for couples, families, kids, personal branding, Instagram, or just about anyone!

Here's a sneak peek of a few of the portraits of some wonderful people that booked mini photography sessions with me at the beautiful Sunflowers 4 Smiles sunflower field in Cottam last night!

I couldn't be happier with how easy energetic Grace was to work with and Christina and Josh definitely are a couple that were lots of fun! There are also a few photos of my daughter Brianna and her friend Kestrel who came out with me a few days before to check out the location, they were wonderful subjects / models. Brianna was also a much appreciated and wonderful assistant on the shoot.

As the season comes to an end the last week for the public to visit the sunflower field located at 45 Rd 10, is this Saturday Sept. 5. It's open daily from 10am-7pm. For any cash donation (which goes to Ronald McDonald House) you can explore and snap some selfies with the sunflowers.

Photographers can rent spots by the hour to shoot sessions with clients (like I did). To book just message Ashley through the Sunflowers For Smiles page. The money from that also goes to Ronald McDonald House.
