Part 2: Wedding favours ❤️‍🔥

We hummed and hawed about what to do for wedding favours and we ended up choosing matchbooks with a cute little design on it. A simple one with our names on it.

Side note: I bought the matchbook boxes without the matches 🤣 taking recommendations for movies to watch while we fill them up with matchsticks.

Two years ago, Sarah and Andrew celebrated their marriage with a beautiful ceremony surrounded by the people they love most. I remember being completely in awe of all the little details, but even more than that, I remember how welcomed I felt being there to document it all.

It was an incredibly warm day (and I mean warm lol), but despite the heat, everyone showed up to cheer these two on and celebrate alongside them.

I may be a couple of days (okay, maybe a week) late with this, but I couldn’t let summer come to an end without revisiting this beautiful day.

Some wedding days just stick with you. This one definitely did 💕

Autumn and Jesse // August 2, 2026

Earlier this month, I spent the day at White Poplar with Autumn and Jesse, celebrating these two surrounded by their friends and family as they got married.

It was such a heartwarming day, filled with so many meaningful moments. From their beautiful blanket ceremony and being sent off with a drum song, to the sweetest first dance. They even snuck away for a few quiet sunset portraits before returning to their guests and continuing the celebration.

I’m so grateful I got to witness and document a day that felt so full of love, connection, and joy! 💕

Plans for the last week of August? Editing, planning fall sessions, and photographing a wedding!

It’s only a short time until I’m back to my 9 to 5. Excited? Yes. Nervous? Also, yes lol. Plus, I’ll be part of an entrepreneur cohort for the next 6 months. How much busier can I get? Lol.

I’m not sure what the plan is for the future, but I’m excited to see how everything in my personal and business life will turn out.

Thankful for everyone keeping me busy this summer and the weeks ahead! I appreciate you all so much 💕

Studio sessions are a great alternative for families, maternity, couples, branding, milestones, and so much more! They give us a clean space to focus on the people and the moments without worrying about rain, wind, cold, or changing Winnipeg weather.

The best part is, we can keep it as simple or as fun as you want!

So if you’ve been putting off photos because you’re waiting for the “right” season or weather, just know that studio is always an option! Plus, I really love the studio and I should visit more often, lol. ☺️💕

Let’s take a moment to head back to the wedding week festivities for Magi and Ormeya. From henna to their wedding day, Magi and Ormeya’s exciting week was filled with so many memorable moments with their friends and family, from all over the world!⁠ Such an honour to be part of these events.

We started off celebrating the two at their henna ceremony, and a few days later, we were all back together for their wedding day! I still think about this day, even 2 years later. ⁠
