A few days ago I posted a new gallery for Don Togo Park, and today for Hugo Street End Park. Continuing to fill in galleries for some of the smaller parks out in Lord Roberts and Riverview...

Don Togo Park is found along the west shore of the Red River, just east of Osborne St at Don Ave. There's a small greenspace with several benches, next to the South Winnipeg Parkway.

Hugo Street End Park is a small greenspace on the south side of Berwick Pl, at the south end of Hugo St S.

Here's a showcase of parks I visited through the first half of July! Things turned into a bit of a scorcher out there the past week or so, but I managed to get out there a few times earlier in the month...

Parks visited include: River Pointe Park, Columbus Park, the Bronx Park Community Centre, Senior Citizens Park, and Fraser's Grove Park.

Today we return back to the Inkster area with Shaughnessy Park, a large athletics area sharing space with Shaughnessy Park School grounds. Found on the east side of Keewatin St, you'll find the Billy Mosienko Arena, several soccer fields and baseball diamonds, outdoor fitness nodes, and a playground and wading pool.

Continuing to fill in the gaps with photo galleries of some of the smaller parks and playgrounds in the Lord Roberts neighborhood... Today's spotlight is Will and Jeanine Richard Memorial Park, a playground and greenspace near the transit corridor at Hethrington Ave and Daly St S. Another spot I regularly pass by on my bike.

I'll be continuing to fill in some of the gaps in the Lord Roberts and Riverview areas... Today I've posted a small gallery for the Brandon Avenue Tot Lot, a playground on the north side of Brandon Ave just west of Osborne St. This is one of the places I pass by on my cycling route anytime I head downtown. 😉

A ways south of the Tyndall Park Community Centre, you'll find Woodsworth Park in an industrial area at Selkirk Ave and King Edward St. This large park features a grassy path running around a pond, and a collection of athletic fields along its eastern edge.

Continuing on with more park visits, through to the end of June! I've now explored nearly every park in the wider St. Vital area, with the exception of Maple Grove Park. The completion of the updated St. Mary's Rd / Perimeter Hwy overpass included some multi-use paths that will make it easier to get there on bike.

I'm also extending my reach into East Kildonan and Seven Oaks this year...

Taking a look at all of the parks I've visited so far this summer! This collection is through to mid-June, spanning St. Boniface, Elmwood, and Mandalay West.

I'll be posting again soon with the rest of the parks I've visited this year through to the end of June...
