I haven’t re-introduced myself in quite a while, and I thought this time of year was the perfect time to do it!

Hi, I’m Jaclyn, and welcome to my little corner of the Instagram world! 📸

I’ve been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been the person who would much rather be behind the camera than in front of it, capturing the little moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

After completing my post-baccalaureate in Education three years ago, I knew I wanted to make more room for something creative in my life. So, I got a camera! My original plan was simple: take it along on hikes and adventures with my dogs, capture those moments, and share them here just for fun.

But somewhere along the way, that little hobby turned into something so much more.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of capturing beautiful families, couples, newborns, maternity sessions, fur babes, and so many special moments and milestones. What an absolute honour it has been to be invited into these moments and trusted to preserve them for years to come.

Photography brings so much joy to my life. It has become a creative outlet and a healthy escape from my full-time career as an early years educator. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love being a teacher, but there’s something so special about getting to step away from the classroom, be creative during a session, and then relive those moments all over again while editing a gallery.

So, whether we’ve worked together before, you’ve been following along and quietly cheering me on, or you’ve simply stopped by to like or comment on a post, thank you. It means more to me than you know.

And if we haven’t worked together yet, I hope I get the chance to capture a little piece of your story someday. I can’t wait to see what moments are waiting to be photographed.✨

Double the giggles, double the cuddles, and double the sweetness. 🥹🤎

There’s just something so special about photographing a family right in the place where they feel most at home. This session was filled with the sweetest little moments, two adorable little personalities, and so much love between them all.

I absolutely loved getting to capture this beautiful family in their own home, where the everyday moments become the memories they’ll want to hold onto forever. From cuddles on the steps to those little in-between moments that happen naturally, these are the photographs that tell their story. ✨

There’s something so special about capturing a family just as they are — the little hands to hold, the genuine smiles, the sweet connection, and the love that shows up in all the little moments.

I still think about this beautiful session from last fall. 🍂🤍

There’s something so special about getting to step into these little seasons of people’s lives and capture them as they are — the love, the excitement, the anticipation, and all the little moments in between.

I loved photographing these two as they celebrated becoming parents. The way they held each other, the quiet moments, and of course that beautiful growing belly made this session so incredibly special.

Fall gave us the most beautiful backdrop, but honestly, their connection was what made these images.

So grateful I got to capture this chapter for them before their little one arrived. 🤍

The little glances. Tiny hands reaching for Mom and Dad. The laughter that can’t be posed. Those are the moments that tell your family’s story.

This beautiful session was also a celebration of one incredible year with their sweet baby girl. One year of watching her grow, learning her personality, and loving her more with every passing day.

Milestones like a first birthday deserve to be remembered, but so do the quiet moments in between. Those are often the ones that mean the most.

Fall Minis bookings will go live on Monday, August 3! These sessions will be 20 minutes for $125.
