This post is long overdue! But I think i speak on behalf of photographers everywhere when i say, to our support systems THANK YOU

They say it takes a village (normally referring to the newborn stage) but just as applicable to photographers in busy season.

I couldn’t give you my clients the heart, care and love that i put into my work without these people.

My mom: who will swing by and clean, do laundry or leave a meal

My dad: who does my books when i’m too busy editing

My friends: who make plans specifically around my schedule so I can be involved. and posed for many photoshoots in my early days

My man: who’s always there with a snack and a foot rub after a long shoot

and finally you my clients: who everyday with liking a post, booking a photoshoot, leaving a review or even just some grace when response times are slow.

Make it possible for me to live out my dreams

So as I celebrate 5 years in business

The forecast said rain all day but we said F it and drove all the way out to grand beach anyways and BOY am I glad we did. The beach to ourselves, cotton candy skies and some sandy toes later gave us this pure magic!

It is extra special when it’s for those close to me in my life!! Getting to help plan and photograph my best friend saying yes to the love of her life is an experience i’ll treasure forever!!
