LET’S TALK BABY NAMES!
When I was pregnant with my first son, I had a list of literally 30 names—but none felt just right, and we couldn’t seem to agree on any of them. Then the day we found out the gender, we sat down again… and suddenly, one name stood out. It meant “God’s gracious gift,” and after years of infertility, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Well, apparently I'm in Instagram story jail again. And of course, on the day I finally had the courage to share ✌️ exciting announcements😭

The last time I was unable to share stories, it lasted a couple of weeks. I really hope this time it will be resolved faster.

What exactly does a doula do, and how can they support families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum?👶🏼🤰🏽

✨️I recognize birth as a key life experience, that the mother will remember all her life. I as your doula understand the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of a women in labor. I assist you and your partner in preparation for and carrying out your plans for your birth. I stay by your side throughout the entire labor. I provide emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint and assistance to the women and information she needs to make good and informed decisions. I also advocate for your wishes, communicating with midwives and doctors to ensure your preferences are understood and respected.✨️

Life lately....☀️🌿⚘️🍅
After a summer of living in the country I don't think I can go back to town or city life.
Still got lots to learn, like taking care of the tomato plants so they don't get eaten by bugs and I have to harvest them all green. Or where not to plant a zucchini plant

Grace-based families are a breath of fresh air. They process their day-to-day life with an air of confidence that comes from knowing God profoundly loves them. The key characteristic of grace based families is that they aren't afraid. They are especially unafraid of all the evil around them. They take their cues straight from King david's playbook:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil for you or with me, your odd near staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23;4

•••This paragraph really stuck out to me today while reading the book 'Grace based parenting' and i hope it encourages you as it did me•••
