Never would I ever have thought I would be spending my birthday in quarantine during a world wide pandemic, but here I am.
I know there is much to be concerned about, and while I am keeping myself informed and prepared, I am fully at peace with being self isolated with my family. I am pretty fortunate that I have them and that I genuinely enjoy their company. Aubrey and I have made pretty decent humans and this quarantine is bringing out the best in us. It's forced us to slow down, finish projects, organize and spend time with one another doing things I never expected. I've stayed connected to extended family and friends thanks to today's technology.
The financial burdens may arise and sickness may happen but for the present I know that worry will not prevent those things and I will enjoy what I have now.
