Winnipeg studio family photography

These three moved to BC but anytime they have a trip to Winnipeg, Bev makes sure to book photos. Pretty much the greatest compliment I can get. This time around, they arrived at the studio directly from the airport. I was their first stop. 🥹

I don’t know about you guys but I look and feel like a bridge troll after any kind of travelling, nevermind with a three year old who probably should have been napping. Somehow we did everything we had planned and there were zero meltdowns.

So grateful for clients who choose to keep coming back.

Behind the scenes, there’s a little adjusting, a lot of patience, and making sure everyone is comfortable and safe. And then… this.

Two brothers, their newest little sister, and a moment that Mom will get to keep forever. 🥹

And somehow that’s a wrap on the 2026 season of flower farm family photography sessions Charlie May Flower farm just outside Winnipeg.

These minis have become an annual tradition and you can see why. Simply stunning.

5 tips for a successful studio newborn photography session - Winnipeg

The process can be overwhelming, especially for first time parents. But it doesn’t have to be.

My biggest piece of advice is to book before baby arrives. Those first few days are a blur and those sleepy, curly images are ideally done when little one is under two weeks old.

But how do you book when you don’t know when baby will be here? I prebook based on due date (which holds a spot on my calendar). Once your tiny human arrives, we schedule the session.
