Grad portraits with Andrea

My absolute favorite part about grad sessions is letting these kids shine in their own way and capturing who they are in this moment. Andrea chose to bring her furry best friend and a special childhood item along and needless to say I encouraged it.

And I’ll be seeing her again this weekend at the CJS grad dinner :)

And in today’s episode of “where has the time gone”, the first time I photographed Mia she was only 4 years old. 14 years later, not only has she still a ballerina, now she is heading off to med school in the fall.

June has been wild… Tonight we gambled and managed to get a brief window before the skies unleashed even more rain. But that backdrop and how they matched the tones paid off.

Outdoor pet portraits with 8 year old Douglas and 6 year old Lily

These two snuggle bugs were gifted a portrait session and I could not love that more. Such a thoughtful gift for their humans to cherish for years to come.

And their synchronized head tilts were 10/10.

Outdoor senior pet portraits with 13 year old Jelly Bean.

This pretty gal was scheduled to be a part of my evening findraiser over a month ago but shortly before the event she was brutally attacked by a muskrat in her own backyard and required life saving medical help. Thankfully she’s on the mend and her adorable outfits cover the parts she wants to forget. She’s a strong one.
