Tip: Did you know that even in low light, a flash or speed light might distort the picture your actually trying to take? Try moving your self or the subject into a position where better lighting will be available, instead of using the flash on your camera. Natural lighting and house lighting may give you truer colors, and a more natural looking picture then the flash on your camera ever will. So turn it off and try not using except when it's really needed. Our Favorite is turning it off for those mirror picture taken for sharing on social media!

Lots of work has been completed in the mobile site, now on Google +, along with our booking calendar is now available through http://m.prismfineartphotography.com/. The site has also been redesigned with inclusion of pictures from the shoot in Gimli, and the colors are not so bright as this apparently has caused a bit of an issue on some smart phones. You can now see part of the collection for sale. More to come this week!

A big Shout out to Tannis and Tom - When others have just given up you picked up the pieces this past few days, what a Christmas gift for Prism Fine Art Photography and me personally! And to the gentleman from Red River Siding, a far cry from a great heckle of Paul M on Stage last night, but we all will remember "Only and inch from...."

Meet up with another photographer last night and headed out with him and his wife this morning for an awesome photo shoot. With a brief atmospheric Ice Cloud and the absolute perfect sun dog that followed the shoot went very well. My fingers are still frozen, and I believe tonight bundling up will be a requirements. Looking forward to the Brooks Family in a few minutes and then the surprise engagement through the lights of Winnipeg. It should be a great night!

The Day is coming near, the new site is starting to take shape, the blog is built ready for content, the site is being built and almost finished - 3 pages left! and the store is waiting for a credit card processing company approval. What a movement! Even have booking inquiries! Some tweaks to the SEO, and photo's for the gallery. It's getting exciting! Can you feel it, we can!
