✨ Another beautiful wedding at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion ✨
I say it time and time again, but this really is my absolute favourite intimate venue in the city. There’s just something about the character and charm of the Pavilion and its ability to host the most beautiful wedding days. I’m forever a sucker for that atrium, the courtyard, and all the gorgeous light Assiniboine Park has to offer in the evenings.
This one was especially beautiful thanks to an all-star lineup of vendors. Ina from Prairie Creative Floral Studio completely transformed the space into an absolute work of art alongside the team. ✨ Every little detail came together so beautifully.
And then there was Gretel. 🐾 While Gretel and I may not have become fast friends 😂, I absolutely loved all the little ways these two included their love for their fur baby throughout their wedding day. It made everything feel that much more personal and completely them. 🤍

Some sneak peeks from last Saturday’s wedding. It was the perfect way to wrap up the second half of my double header weekend, at one of my absolute favourites, the Assiniboine Park Pavilion. After a mostly gloomy day and a little sprinkle of rain that definitely wasn’t on the wedding day bingo card, the skies gave us the sweetest little window of golden light ✨ We snuck away for a quick sunset session and it was SO worth it.
Another beautiful day, the loveliest couple, and another incredible vendor team to work alongside. ✨⭐️
Couldn’t have asked for a prettier way to finish off a busy wedding weekend. 🤍✨

There’s just something about opening an email from a wedding planner that instantly reignites the excitement 🤍

The timeline is finalized, the details are falling into place, and suddenly the wedding day starts to feel real.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I find myself reading through the schedule, seeing the incredible lineup of vendors I’ll get to work alongside, and imagining all the little moments i’ll be preserving.

And when it’s at one of my favourite venues, with the sweetest couple... it’s just the cherry on top.

It’s been a little quiet around here, but my hard drives have certainly been anything but.

I’ve been sitting on so many beautiful sessions and weddings from the past few years that deserve a spot on the feed, so I’m making a bigger effort to share them. Better late than never, right? 🤍

This downtown Winnipeg engagement session is one I still adore. The most beautiful golden evening glow, a skyline that showed off, and two people who made my job incredibly easy.

Not long after these photos were taken, they celebrated their wedding at the Fort Garry Hotel. Fast forward a couple of years, and they’ve officially entered their parenthood era. What a privilege it is to capture one chapter of a story and then watch life continue to unfold.

Some weddings just stick with you, and this will always be one of mine. 🤍

Their ceremony was unlike any I’ve photographed. Officiated by a close friend, I laughed almost the entire time while somehow also tearing up. It was funny, heartfelt, and so perfectly them.

We slipped away for a few quiet moments at sunset, and this was one of my favourite images from the day.

I’ll always have a soft spot for timeless wedding style. A classic black tux and bow tie paired with the most beautiful crepe gown never goes out of style.
