What do you do when you have a beautiful European inspired courtyard cafe as your backdrop for an engagement session? You take the drone out and capture it in a way it probably hasn’t been done before.
Every year I push myself to think outside the box, and I’m so in love with this shot. The vibes, the lighting, the colours, it all works perfectly. More to come from Leanne and Keith’s engagement session.

Getting my Fujifilm X100VI last week has really inspired me to shoot in ways I haven’t before. One of the best parts of the camera is that nostalgic, vintage feel it gives the photos, and this shot of Collin and Hailey was straight MAGIC.

I may have to start bringing this to all my sessions and weddings this year 😬

My shutter jammed the second I started shooting. The client never knew.

This is what you actually pay for when you hire an experienced photographer. Not just the gallery at the end, but the problem solving in real time when something goes wrong. The calm when gear fails. The fix that happens before it ever becomes a problem you can see.

Anyone can get a nice photo when everything works. The value is in what happens when it doesn’t.

Your gear will fail eventually. Experience is what makes sure your memories don’t.
