Hi to anyone stopping by. Hope you and yours are emerging from Covid unscathed!
Haven't been doing much professional photography since Covid began. My gal and I had been doing some travelling and as our last trip came to a close, Covid hit. We're both retired from our day jobs so are at the age where you have to be extra careful. Accordingly we put plans for becoming more active in Photography, on hold for awhile.
Last year I did a calendar for the Manitoba Chapter of the 99's, the women's aviation organization that organized the Women Fly events some of you may have participated in. They still have a few available so I posted a photo and commented with a link in case anyone would like to support Manitoba's women in aviation by purchasing one.
Other than that things have been quiet, as we basically withdrew into our riverfront hideaway. Our nice, well equipped home studio, due to Covid, has been idle other than doing some special shots to augment a wedding , some newborn photography and some product photography. Really less than a week's work in it for the past 2 years ...so very quiet.
As the world emerges from Covid we look forward to seeing folks again and exploring opportunities to do photography that inspires us and others.
I'd also like to express our hope for Peace in Ukraine. This has become such a bewildering and frightening world and to see people treated the way they are by a senseless dictator, is mind numbing. It is often hard to justify finding joy in anything in the light of the cruelty and madness on this planet. We must try though.
