I’m always VERY excited when it’s time for golden hour wedding photos! 🌅

Not only does it give you some of the most beautiful, glowy photos of the day, but it also gives you a chance to sneak away from the wedding chaos for a few minutes.

Just the two of you, a little fresh air, and a chance to soak in the fact that you’re officially married. 🤍

Sometimes those few quiet minutes together end up being some of my favourite moments of the whole day.

Just remember: it’s **your **day.

So if you want to stop for ice cream, grab a coffee, sneak away for a few extra sunset photos, or simply take a moment together… DO IT! ✨

The most important thing is that you’re enjoying your day and making memories that feel like you.

I’ve gotten very good at using Photoshop over the years — I was taught how to use it when I was 15 🤍

But honestly… I’ve learned it’s usually much easier (and faster) to fix something in person than in post 😅

At weddings, I become the unofficial Pocket Police.
Phones out of pockets.
Hair ties off wrists.
Straightening boutonnieres.
Fixing twisted necklaces.

Anything to save editing time later 😂

What’s something YOU refuse to edit out of photos? 👀

I shouldn’t have to say this, but you should never feel scared to ask your photographer not to post photos of your children on social media. If they give you a hard time about it, they might not be the right photographer for you.

I rarely post photos of children, and I always make sure you’re comfortable with any content I share 🤍

🌿 Gallery Cleanup Reminder 🌿

With spring here, I’ll be doing a little behind-the-scenes cleanup and removing older galleries from my website on June 1, 2026.

If you have a gallery older than 90 days and are not a 2026 wedding client or currently booked for a summer or fall mini session, please make sure you download your images before then 🤍

Your photos will NOT be deleted — they will simply be removed from the website. I do keep backups saved on an external hard drive for a minimum of 3 years.

After June 1, galleries will need to be manually re-uploaded upon request, and you will then have 2 weeks to download your photos again.
