A few weeks ago, I received an email that I was nominated for Winnipeg Entrepreneur of the Year 🥹
I’m still speechless, to say the least, about receiving this news.
Building something you love while working full-time and competing at a high level isn’t easy, and honestly, some days you feel like quitting. But it’s little moments like this simple email that truly make it all worth it, especially seeing the stories, clients, and priceless moments that I have the privilege of witnessing and working with each year.
This nomination isn’t about me, though; it’s about the people who support me and back me up every single day to help me do what I do.
To my family, who see the late nights, the editing on the couch, and the vacations that always come with a little bit of work tucked in, thank you for understanding that time never stops.
To my husband, for standing by all of it, every single day.
To my photography team, who have made this year wholesome by bringing you on, thank you for adding so much value and spark to a little dream I once had that now has become a reality.
To the Winnipeg wedding photography community and the incredible vendors across the wedding industry, thank you for the collaboration, the referrals, and the friendships along the way.
This industry is better because of the people in it ♥️ I’m grateful to do what I do, but without the people behind me, none of this is possible.
