Have you kayaked or canoed at Emerald lake? Or went down with a paddle board?
I wish I did when I went. After seeing the photos and videos of my friends canoeing on this lake,I regret my decision not to.
Smoke was still covering the mountains of this majestic landscape when we were there and as I saw photos from the past days ,I was a bit envious .

Sunset at Macaulay point park
I was looking for another good sunset spot around Victoria and this park popped out. So, I went there with my sister,nephew and nieces that same afternoon . From a distance I actually could see the Fisgard lighthouse and the Colwood waterfront
On the way back to the parking area,I saw this couple and took a snap . This is cute don’t you think?

Upper Thetis Lake trail
Went for a hike with my siblings on a beautiful Tuesday morning before going to Fisherman’s wharf later that afternoon.
Upper Thetis Lake Trail is a 5.1 km loop trail located near View Royal, British Columbia. Along the way we came across trail runners and dogs going for their morning walk. I took this shot with someone paddle boarding while we’re taking out water breaks.
Hopefully,I can get on more hikes next time I’m in Vancouver island. Did you go on hikes this summer?

I took several photos of the Fisgard lighthouse but I think this is my favourite.

I’ve always wanted to take a photo of this Lighthouse since I got to Victoria and considering this is just a few minutes away from where I was staying. I actually had a few already but it was from the waterfront which is too far and my zoom lens (18-105mm) is still not zoomed enough. 11 days later, decided to walk to there and finally I got to it ,up close .
