When Rhea and Cary first reached out, they told me they were planning an intimate ’70s disco party in their backyard — disco balls, taco bar, pudding, rugs on the grass. Their “favourite things in their favourite place, with their favourite people.”
Then plans changed to a wedding at Shorty’s Pizza — still with disco cowboys in the mix.
And wow, these two did NOT come to play. Cary showed up in the most gorgeous wine-coloured suit covered in flower patches and dangling yee haw earrings. Rhea was radiant in tulle, carrying a LEGO bouquet. Cute!
THIS. This is why I love shooting intimate weddings. When couples make their wedding so unmistakably them, my job gets to be ridiculously easy and fun.
