hey !! i’ve been a little mia lately. life has been really challenging on the personal side, and honestly it hasn’t always been easy. i had so many plans coming into 2026, but i genuinely don’t know what happened in the first two months HA HA everything feels like a blur.

but even in the middle of it all, i’m still grateful for the small joyful moments that somehow find their way in. thank you Jesus! my hope comes from You.

i also can’t wait for winter to be over so i can finally run around and shoot comfortably again. photography is for every season… but can we all just agree winter makes it a little harder to love sometimes?

here’s a random photo i took last week during a work event because i was bored and i suddenly had this vision of editing it a certain way (swipe to see the before) and somehow it ended up feeling exactly like where my heart and mind have been lately.

everything moving. everything going.
it’s quiet, yet somehow so loud.

story time besties hahaha

last november, i photographed my very first couple. and it was also their first time being photographed as a couple! so yes… we were all kinda figuring things out, a little nervous, a little excited, and definitely winging it (with lots of silent prayers haha)

our original location didn’t work out (the place wasn’t exactly welcoming … let’s just leave it at that) so we had to scramble last minute and figure out where to go. buuut, it ended up being perfect. we went to a spot where they actually had their first date as a couple and it made the whole shoot feel super special. even with the little time we had and all the moving around, we cute little moments and so much love. it wasn’t perfect but sometimes, that’s exactly what makes it beautiful.

seriously though, to anyone starting out in photography or in any career you’ve been praying for: firsts are scary, messy, and a little chaotic but also SO worth it. trust yourself, embrace the surprises and just go for it. you never know what magical moments are waiting for you (and your couple!)

consider this my application to photograph your love, holiday edition πŸ‘€βœ¨

there’s something about this season that reminds me how God weaves stories in the sweetest ways. maybe it’s the warm lights or the cold-weather snuggles, the quiet moments where we finally slow down (pretty ironic i know) or just the softness this season brings.

but every year, i’m reminded of how the Lord writes love stories so beautifully. a love that doesn’t always have to mean a romantic partner. it can be family, friends, community, or even the gentle way you learn to love yourself. at the end of the day, love is from God. God Himself is love πŸ•ŠοΈ
