In Piper's Dream was sad to see "Burnt Sienna" leave us and head to her new home 2 weeks ago. We sure do miss her slobbery kisses, enthusiasm for life, pretty face and perky ears.
I was able to find a home with some very savy BC people who, I know , will love her to bits and treat her like the princess she is. She also has a big BC sister to enjoy life with.
Still it's always hard to say goodbye, even when one knows she will have a fabulous life. Sienna took up a big spot in our hearts and she will always be part of our crew.

Happy 9th Birthday to my Poppy! You have only brought JOY into my life from the very day I brought you home. Like a ray of sunshine you lit up my life when my days were dark. I’ve never seen Red enjoy a puppy like he did you….leading to the amazing best friend relationship you two have.
Poppy , you “wiggle” your way into everyone’s hearts with your gentle , caring nature. Life has been wonderful since you, my little split faced girl enriched it with your amazing personality!

I'm no longer getting updates on Scout and Gwen of the .

Scout's dad attributed human emotions to his dog, thinking he needed to experience mating. However, male dogs have natural urges due to their biology. This is why I recommend neutering by 18 months (or when mutually decided by vet), as dogs don't feel emotional loss if they've never mated, unlike humans.

Gwen's family, on the other hand , felt they could pull the wool over my eyes by not saying they were looking for a breeding female. Hence the non-breeding part of my agreement. Having a litter of puppies does not make a better dog, breeding comes with a lot of risks and potential problems. Allowing a female to go through one heat cycle may have health benefits but they don't need to get pregnant.

My current agreement when selling puppies is based on experiences I have had with puppy buyers. It really makes me sad not to hear how a pup is doing , it also prevents me from following the health of my pups... which is important info, especially for genetic issues one can not test for .

It’s hard to believe the pups are 5! Finn has been such a great addition to the house. He’s a sweet dog who loves to be close, and is always eager to play or go for a walk. Finn is especially happy when he has a stick to play with! He’s such a lovely dog and we’re so happy to have him here!

Last picked doesn't mean anything is wrong with a puppy... Arthur is certainly a shining example of example of this! This boy loves lots of adventures, has many friends he visits and is so loved by his family!

From Mum:

Arthur AKA “Mr Handsome” is a real gem. He is very snuggly, smart, intuitive and the best companion. He also gives the best kisses. Arthur is a pretty chill Border Collie. Happy sunning himself on the back patio as he is sprinting full speed down the beach. He loves to go on long sniffari walks, chase balls, camp, play with his friends and visit local businesses for treats. Arthur really is the bestest boy!
Arthur’s happy place is outside in the yard listening to the birds and watching the world lol.

Thor was the first of three BC from IPD to go to this dog loving home! I'm not sure if he rules his sisters or vice versa!!

From Mum:

Omygoodness 5 years has pasted so quickly.
Thor is amazing, my very own therapy dog.
Thor watches the deer so intently, he feels he is protecting us from them
Thors nightly habit, he has to have paw wax on his paws.
He is so patient as he is sounded by girls. And when they get to be too much for him, he vanishes and goes downstairs and lays on the landing. I spelled put treats the other day, he tilted his and barked at me. If he can spell, life is going to get very interesting .

I love opening my phone to pictures of Gadget and seeing her adventures! It's amazing how much she looks like her Mum Fiona!

Gadget continues to thrive in 2026. We get into the woods just about every day, and she loves to explore. She is eager to please and will happily retrieve balls or Frisbees or anything else. Mostly she loves her people and wants to be around them. Such a good pup.

Right from the start this dark tri-coloured boy captured my heart... I could only imagine how gorgeous he would turn out! Max is an amazing big bro to two little humans and his mum's constant rock!

Max is the light of our little family. We had alot of change when he was about two but he is just the most amazing guy! You can find him with a ball or not far from his new little friend. He has been the best addition to our lives. Our son will be a year old here soon and max is his best friend 🧡

Chip was named after his older brother Sam... because of their similarity in markings it seemed appropriate for him to be a "chip off the old block". Even though Sam is no longer here, Chip carries on his legacy.

Wow, these beautiful pups are 5! Everyone says they have the best dog, and they're absolutely right. Chip is everything to us in our family - my loyal work companion each day, our ball of fun in the evening, our fitness instructor, comedian and loyal, beautiful friend.
