Started the wedding season with this beautiful Toronto wedding at the King Edward Hotel.

We had the best day with Jennifer, Chris and their family and friends. The day flowed perfectly…it felt personal, and full of little moments that made it theirs. And of course… their dog Teddy might have stolen the show. He was with them for pretty much everything (except the reception… he took the night off).

Their ceremony had one of the best surprises too. The officiant Ed from suddenly broke into “All You Need Is Love” right when they walked down the aisle. — a little tribute to the movie Love Actually — with a amazing trio popping in to join him. No one saw it coming and the whole room lit up.

And the reception… absolutely gorgeous.

What a day and what a team of people working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

We’ve been hearing that City Hall weddings are trending… and if this is what they look like, sign us up.

We’ve photographed a few now, but it’s been a while and they’re honestly so good!!!! It’s such a perfect little day — your closest people, nothing overcomplicated, and some real time carved out for the two of you. It feels right!!! 🙂

The first look...

We get asked about this all the time.
We did one ourselves, and if we could do it all over again, we’d do it again. The more moments you have to look forward to that day, the better, right?

This was Britt + Mark’s first look...It was adorable...they picked this cute little spot at the Golf Club Mark used to work at. Getting to the spot wasn’t exactly smooth — tight path, branches everywhere, big wedding dress lol
Luckily Britt had some beautiful people helping her through.
Once we got there… the view was totally worth it and this moment was perfect.
