Today was another beautiful day for flying. This time I took a drive to Bunker Island and walked down to the Bunker Island Lighthouse (a.k.a. the Bug Light). It was nice to finally see it up close, and hard to believe that members of my family once lived there.

With the Bluenose II in town for a few days, I had to take the chance to get a few aerial shots before it goes.

Today was also a great day to do some flight practice with my racing/freestyle drone. This drone is flown with fully manual controls, which allows me to do all sorts of maneuvers that my photo drone isn't capable of.

I didn't notice the halo around the sun until I got home and started reviewing the footage.
