Yesterday I had the privelage to do a photoshoot with this handsome little 6 month old and his family.

This was supposed to be his newborn photoshoot, except he had a rough start to life and spent the first 4.5 months in the NICU.

This little guy was born with 6 spleens, and 3 holes in his heart.

To bring some awareness, Maverick has PCD ( primary cilary dyskinesia) which is a rare disorder where the cilia in his body everywhere are immobile. It’s a sister to Cystic Fibrosis. He has left isomerism ( meaning he was born with two left sides of his heart and not a left and a right ).

He was such a good model yesterday I cant wait to hang out with this family again!!!
