Humanitarian, environmental and conservational photographer. I am a humanitarian, environmental end conservational photographer from Switzerland.

With my images, I desire to transport emotions, urging people to open their heart and react. The reactions I am aiming for are versatile, they can be a simple gesture, a smile, a tear or a clear action like a donation to a humanitarian or environmental project or they decide to join one of these projects as a volunteer. My area of expertise is in the field of NGO photography, volunteering, sustain

ability, environmental issues, nature photography, wildlife and nature conservation, women rights, gender equality, children welfare and zero waste. I am a visual storyteller. With my work, I provide NGO with images to tell their stories and raise much needed funds for their projects.

Lanzarote has mainly been shaped by one person, local architect César Manrique. He built houses, viewpoints and gardens respecting the local circumstances. He is also mainly responsible for the white colour of all the local houses and managed to have the government agree on sustainable measures. Because of him, houses can not be built higher than 2 stories anymore in order to not have them blocking the views and winds.

Lanzarote is a 100% volcanic island with an average of 5 rainy days per year. Still, they manage to have a flourishing wine business there. The vines are planted in a little funnel. The morning dew rolls down into the funnel and thanks to the porous volcanic ground, the water is distributed evenly throughout the day to the roots of the vine. No water added. Every few days, the funnel is being sweeped to ensure the water goes only to the vine.

Winter is back - in April. Trees started blossoming and now they freeze again. Farmers are busy putting up frost candles to save the crops from too much damage.

Even in wintertime, sustainability is possible. Cross country skiing is a good way to be outdoors, enjoy nature and to not leave any damage whatsoever. And this year it is even more popular here in Switzerland thanks to the pandemic.⁣

One of the things that grounds me is a walk in the forest. This image is from yesterday. The sun was almost down and the light was just gorgeous. And the forest just around the corner from where I live.

is still going on and together with I help cleaning up the city. But it would be so much easier, of people wouldn't buy plastic or at least wouldn't throw trash anywhere else than into a trash bin... Don't you agree? So why don't we do it then?⁣
