Manchmal habe ich fast keine Projekte und dann plötzlich viel zu viele. Ich fühle mich schnell gestresst, wenn ich zu viel Arbeit habe. Mit den folgenden Regeln gelingt es mir, besser mit solchen Situationen umzugehen.

A Love Letter

These still-life images are a love letter, where childhood memories and nostalgia resonate in every natural element. Each piece, from the rugged stones to the delicate flowers, captures the essence of Sardegna—a place where time slows down and my heart finds a home.

This series was created during my holidays in August using natural light and elements found on the island (except for the paper backdrops). Each day, I challenged myself to focus on one project, though it was far from easy. Working in 35°C heat, battling winds or water, and unknowingly letting ants crawl up my legs were just a few of the challenges I faced. 😅
Despite the chaos, sweat, and frustrations, I felt deeply connected to my natural surroundings.

Many of the images serve as my remembrance of the island, here are a few for you to enjoy.

Splash of reality: our oceans are suffering!

A great reminder of the impact we're having on our waterways and nature in general. Let's clean up our act and make a change for the better.

Sometimes I need a reminder of my responsibilities. It saddens me how we've been treating our planet. These issues are close to my heart, and sometimes I try to process them through art.

Die Produktfotografie ist oft nicht einfach. Doch bei jedem Shooting finde ich Lösungen für Probleme und entdecke neue Wege, eine Idee umzusetzen. Ein Moodboard und Skizzen sind für mich dabei enorm hilfreich.

Meine Tipps, wie ich die häufigsten Probleme behebe, beschreibe ich dir in diesem Beitrag.

Ich kann mich gut daran erinnern, wie ich mich das erste Mal mit Nutzungslizenzen beschäftigte. Ein potenzieller Neukunde wollte wissen, was ich für Lizenzen verrechne und was diese alles beinhalten würden. Ich hatte mir dies ehrlicherweise noch nie überlegt und auch noch nie Lizenzen verrechnet. Dies sagte ich dem Kunden natürlich nicht. Stattdessen begann ich nach Informationen im Internet zu suchen. 3 Stunden später hatte ich immer noch keine Antworten. Ich fragte bei anderen Fotografen*innen nach, doch auch da bekam ich keine konkreten Antworten.

Gerne teile ich mit euch hier die Resultate meiner Recherchen und meinen Erfahrungen. Diese beziehen sich hauptsächlich auf die kommerzielle Lizenzierung im Bereich der Still Life- und Produktfotografie. Mit redaktioneller Lizenzierung habe ich kaum Erfahrung.

Ich freue mich sehr, Pia Fleischmann, eine herausragende Grafikerin, vorstellen zu dürfen. Wir haben uns bei verschiedenen Netzwerkanlässen kennengelernt, und ich war sofort von ihrem minimalistischen Stil fasziniert.
