Being a role model for the visibility of the as a pet.

To us, it’s important, that we can bring Rami on outings.
It means, that most memories we have, include him.

He is extremely curious and loves new places.

The best thing is, that people stop and ask questions. Especially if he’s wearing cool .
We get to explain the tragedy of the hunting dogs of Spain. And people realize that the galgo is not a timid, broken dog, but can be a companion in life, just as any other breed.

This is the statue of the town musicians of Bremen. The classic german fairytale tells a story about four domestic animals, that cannot fullfil the jobs they were bred to do at their farm anymore. They are bound to be slaughtered and instead, run away. They band together to find a new purpose as musicians, fight robbers and continue to live a happy life in freedom.
The fairytale dates from 1819. It took our culture many generations to define cats and dogs and even the rooster as pets. In Spain, the is bred to hunt hare for competition for a season or two. As a new, faster generation is born, dogs like our Rami are leftovers. They get discarded in various ways, some humane, many absolutely disgusting.
It is up to us to address this mistreatment - because life is not a fairytale.
