Earlier this week, I was location scouting in Aubonne.
And I found myself coming back to something very simple.
Above all, I am a storyteller.
And no story is too small.
A birthday afternoon.
A walk by the lake.
A baptism, a wedding — or just a quiet moment in between, when nothing particular is happening, and yet everything is.
This is what I look for when I photograph.
Not perfection. Not performance.
But what is already there.
Because this is what we are made of.
And perhaps this is why, when you look back at a photograph of yourself with your child, something shifts.
The noise falls away.
What remains is much simpler.
Connection. Presence. The way you were together in that moment.
And it changes how you see things — a clarity that stays with you long after.
