🇨🇳 Yes… that’s me speaking Mandarin! 😅

There’s a reason for that: I’m currently in Shenzhen, China, working directly with our suppliers and engineers on the next phase of I’m Back Roll.

And if you don’t understand my Mandarin, don’t worry. The idea behind I’m Back Roll is much easier to explain. 😜

We love analog cameras. So why leave these beautiful machines sitting on a shelf?

That’s why we created I’m Back Roll. 📷

Filippo Nishino and I, Samuel Mello Medeiros, are heading to Shenzhen to begin the next important phase in the development of the I’m Back Roll.

We are now entering the stage where hardware and software engineering come together, while also defining the suppliers and components that will become part of the final product.

During my time here in China, I’ll share updates whenever possible, giving you a glimpse behind the scenes as the project moves forward.

I’m currently in Brazil on vacation before heading to China on August 16 for the second phase of the I’m Back Roll production.

For this trip, I decided to travel as light as possible, so I packed only my MiMi.
