The fire salamanders weren't roadkill even though they are dead on the road. Only 2 cars and a truck travel there per day and these travel at night...
We get a lot of toads crossing from the forest to the source down hill at the moment. Even though they are not rare, I still help them across where possible...

I needed to have a space outside where I could leave my (young and "energetic") dogs while I go cycling, hiking, shopping or otherwise. So I decided to combine it with a patio... It's still a work in progress, but since this is a rented property, nothing is attached or drilled down :-)

Please help Puerto Rico!!!
Because the Orange haired "Make America Great Again" Buffoon most certainly doesn't seem to care enough to do so. ☹

Salinas is a poor town as it is; with this storm so many people lost their homes, all their belongings. The town no longer looks like a town. I lived in Puerto Rico for almost three years it’s home to me; imagine those who have been there all their lives...I say we help one another bring it back...

Faux d'Enson is worth a walk. The observation tower at 927m altitude gives you a 360 degree view of the Ajoie region. The Col de Montvoie with 864m is one of the higher passes in the area and is a great starting point to explore the area on foot.
