Good news for all MonsterAdapter LA-FZ1 owners. There is a new firmware (V1.2) available. A problem with the aperture control has been fixed and the AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D IF should now also focus on the adapter.

2.Fixed the issue where the AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D IF could not focus.

The DGP Award (Digital Camera Grand Prix デジタルカメラグランプリ) is an award within Japan's imaging industry organized by a third-party selection body. Its defining feature is a consumer-centric approach, combined with professional input, to provide a comprehensive evaluation of digital imaging products.
The LA-FE2 was introduced in 2024 as an adapter designed for Sony cameras to enable AF function with Nikon F-mount lenses.
Compared to the previous LA-FE1 model, it incorporates a focus motor within the adapter. Beyond supporting the existing range of lenses compatible with the LA-FE1, it can drive autofocus on screw-type AF lenses released since 1987.

Anfangs August habe ich mit MonsterAdapter zusammen bei uns die SEACAM Conversions Objektive R-UW AF 13 mm, 28 mm und 20 - 35 mm getestet.
Wir haben den Autofokus für den LA-FE2 verbessert. Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass bei einem nächsten Firmware Update die RS 13 mm und 28 mm vollumfänglich vom MonsterAdapter LA-FE2 unterstützt werden.

At the beginning of August, I tested the SEACAM Conversions R-UW AF 13 mm, 28 mm, and 20–35 mm lenses together with MonsterAdapter.
We have improved the autofocus for the LA-FE2. We are confident that the RS 13 mm and 28 mm will be fully supported by the MonsterAdapter LA-FE2 in the next firmware update.

Nun ist es soweit! Die Ausliefertermine und Preise für den MonsterAdapter LA-FZ1 sind bekannt.
Ab morgen Nachmittag wird die Vorbestellung vom LA-FZ1 für Europa bei Ingma Pictures aufgeschaltet. Die Auslieferung erfolgt nach Bestellungseingang ab Anfangs September.

Now the time has come! The delivery dates and prices for the MonsterAdapter LA-FZ1 have been announced.
From tomorrow afternoon the pre-order of the LA-FZ1 for Europe will be available at Ingma Pictures. Delivery will take place from the beginning of September once orders have been received.

MonsterAdapter has officially announced the availability and pricing of the new electronic adapter LA-FZ1.

Mainland China: mid-July 2025;
Japan: mid-August 2025, open pricing;
Europe: early September 2025, retail price of €439 (including two-year warranty);
U.S. and other regions: September 2025, retail price of $359 USD or currency equivalent.
Note: The above prices do not include additional tariff changes in the U.S. or other regions.

Also, this product comes with the following caveats:
1. This product is designed to support early AF-series Nikkor lenses;
2. The current firmware does not support autofocus for lenses with built-in focus motors including AF-I and AF-S;
3. The current firmware does not support EMD electromagnetic aperture control;
4. The current firmware does not support VR stabilization.
The support of the above features has not yet been determined, so please pay attention to the follow-up notice.
