It's rather quiet on our account lately – the reason an easy one: We just have too much on our agendas. This includes a wedding, summer holidays, a new job opportunity, relocation and just normal life going on. But we have been out and have planned and written things for you. Remember our last post about «Spotz» from .ch.rando ? Spotz are QR codes on the yellow signposts along the hiking trail that provide information about the area.

Some Spotz can already be found and tested – and this is exactly what .ch.rando asks you for: Go out and scan the QR codes. But most importantly: Let them know what you think. Do you like the Spotz – or do you think they are unnecessary? Do you find enough information or are you missing certain details? And what else would you like to know about scanning a Spotz on the go?

We love hiking in Switzerland. One thing we especially rely on when we're out and about are the yellow signposts from .ch.rando Not all of them, but some have now received an extra update, the so-called "Spotz". These are QR codes that can be scanned. The page that opens provides information about the current location, possible hikes from the spot, and available restaurants or accommodations in the area. The initiative is brand new and needs to be tested. So this is your turn! Go out, explore, hike, and scan the Spotz. 🙌

Anzeige | Last weekend we hiked the third part of the Waldstätterweg. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side and it rained all afternoon. We were a little apprehensive, knowing that we would be staying at one of Lucerne’s most prestigious hotels, the . When we entered the marbled lobby with soggy shoes, we received a very warm welcome 😌 is open to all and it’s great to see how people in sneakers and jeans enjoy their drinks next to women in high heels and men in smokings. This truly is a five-star-hotel that is open to all and we can only recommend staying there if you have the chance 🥰

Anzeige | Central Switzerland you beauty! We just love hiking around the area. It offers some beautiful hiking trails, amazing views of the lake, and awesome places to stay – one example is . We were warmly welcomed by their team. They took wonderful care of us and fulfilled all our wishes, even those of Pepe, Tina’s dog. We can’t wait to be back 🥰

Hiking season kick-off! 🥾We are currently doing the "Waldstätterweg", a seven-stage hike around Lake Lucerne. We have completed the first two stages and - imagine the drums 🥁 - now present two blogs about them. You'll find them linked in our bio.
