The first images from our trip to La Muralla Roja in Spain 💙

Honestly, this place might be one of the most surreal architectural locations I’ve ever visited.

Built in the early 1970s by the legendary Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, this place feels like walking through a dream — or straight into a movie set. And yes, many people believe it even inspired parts of the visual world of Squid Game. The geometry, the colors, the endless staircases… absolutely unreal.

We spent four days there, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I had such a crazy output in such a short amount of time. These are the images from the blue section of the complex — and over the next days I’ll also share photos from the other colors and parts of this incredible place.

And honestly… traveling while also having someone amazing to create with makes it even better ❤️
Big thanks to my beautiful fiancé, , for being the perfect travel and shooting partner.

DO YOU LIKE STREETSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY? 👀

For me, streetscape photography sits somewhere between street photography and cityscape photography.

It’s not as close and spontaneous as classic street photography — the focus isn’t mainly on candid moments or people themselves. But it’s also not as wide and distant as cityscape photography.

For me, it’s about people within an environment — combining strong compositions, atmosphere, architecture, and human presence to tell a story.

Kind of the best of both worlds.

A few of my favorite seascapes from the northern coast of Spain 🌊

Funny enough, I’m actually in Spain right now again — just in a completely different area, around Valencia, working on a photography project I’ve had in mind for years.

But seeing these images reminded me how much I love the rough, dramatic coastline of northern Spain. The waves, textures, moody light, and endless possibilities for long exposures — definitely one of my favorite places for seascape photography.

I love it when a vision slowly turns into reality.

Starting with just an idea in your head — a mood, a feeling, a concept — and then watching it all come together through the people around you.

Milky Way season is back in full swing 🌌

To be honest, over the past 2–3 years, I haven’t photographed the Milky Way nearly as much as I used to. My focus shifted a bit into other directions — streetscapes, studio work, and different creative challenges.

But for almost 15 years, photographing the Milky Way has been a huge part of my photography journey. Late nights, long drives, freezing temperatures, and chasing clear skies.

Did you know we actually have a lighthouse in the middle of the Swiss mountains? 😳🏔️

I’ve visited this little spot several times over the past years — and honestly, I just love it. I’ve always had a thing for lighthouses, but the fact that we have one sitting next to a small mountain lake, surrounded by peaks, makes it feel even more surreal.

It’s one of those places that somehow feels completely out of place… and exactly because of that, incredibly cool.
