The Andromeda galaxy is the farthest object visible to the naked eye. It’s mind blowing to think we can see light that travelled for over 2.2 million years to reach us!

This image is taken from a dark site on the Alps (Bortle 3) with the aid of a simple Vixen polar tracker.
