I’ve been sitting with this image for a while, unsure whether to share it or keep it to myself. This is Teresa — someone I had the privilege of working with several times, and someone who left a real mark on me. She was a muse in every sense of the word, not just because of how effortlessly she moved in front of the camera, but because of the kind of person she was behind it.
When I learned that she had passed away, I honestly didn’t know how to process it. Posting a photo felt strange at first, almost like it might be the wrong thing to do. I didn’t want it to seem like I was using her image for attention or turning something so personal into a public moment. That hesitation kept me from sharing this for quite some time.
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that this photograph isn’t just a picture — it’s a memory of someone who brought a lot of light with her. Teresa had a presence that made every shoot easier, calmer, and better. She was beautiful, yes, but her real impact came from who she was: warm, gentle, curious, genuine. You felt it the moment she walked into the room. Working with her never felt like “work.” It felt like creating something together with a person who understood the craft and respected it.
Her passing is a reminder of how fragile life is, and how important it is to hold onto the moments and people who shape us. Sharing this image feels like my way of keeping a small part of her alive — a tribute to someone who gave so much of herself, even in brief collaborations.
This photo represents more than a shoot; it represents a person who I’m grateful to have known, even if only for a short time. I hope that by posting it, I’m honoring her rather than intruding on her memory. And I hope those who knew her, or worked with her, can feel a bit of her spirit in it too.
I’m thankful our paths crossed. She’ll be missed. 😔 Rest in peace beautiful angel.
